Silver Soul

And thunder booms hope
For a spell
Then fades into sunburn
And deliberate breathing

Found this one when I opened my word processor to work on my resume. It was just sitting there. Puzzled, and wondering if I ever posted it I searched, and searched, I couldn’t find anything so I started this post, but then I remembered WordPress’ search is screwy, so I google it. Turns out to be an excerpt from Maybe Earthquakes. Maybe I was thinking of rewriting it, or may I felt this was the heart of the poem, it’s definitely the best bit, so screw it, here.
