Summer

deadly wine in summer
when there is no rain
in summer without remorse
she sat beside me
momentarily in a park
left me smiling
that stupid smile
in shameless summer
with its withered grass
and suffocating air
she sat beside me
momentarily
in summer
left me smiling
that stupid smile
in summer
in a park
